Stay true to being you. You’re too real to be fake! In building the “Dear Graduate Community “ and trying to get professionals to train the members, I’ve also learnt quite a few things. The first class for the year was great. The trainer spoke on “Utilizing LinkedIn in Building a Personal Brand.” Well, I’m most active on LinkedIn that’s why I chose the topic, I also wanted others to utilize the platform. The trainer talked about Authenticity as a foundation for building a personal brand. A personal brand shouldn’t be forced. You don’t have to be fake to build a personal brand. On some days, I feel overwhelmed with living. I get so worried about my life and there were days I literally gave up trying. Each day, I realize that it’s my responsibility to stay happy regardless. I’ve always wanted to inspire people with words. Words that are truthful, powerful and resonates with individuals. For a long time, I’ve been doing this. If you know me, you can testify. I just never chose to set up a process for it. Today, I finally embrace this journey to inspire people with words by documenting them. I know that by inspiring other people, I also inspire myself. These words are from my heart, my experiences and those of others, the lessons learnt and humanity. It doesn’t look so clear how far it would go, but it gets clearer as I journey.
